WORK AGAIN

Well, the competition is over for the year in Ft. Worth and Flash and I will get back to working! I learned a few tips from trainers while in Ft. Worth and I'm anxious to get working with him. I think Flash has me trained really well and now it's HIS turn! He's such an awesome horse, I just never wanted to "mess him up"! I will continue to blog and take pictures until he finds a new home. At least I know he'll be near me and I can check on him!!

Weather Holdup!

We've had so much rain in the last 8 days! Everything is a mess at our house, but that's okay. Flash is getting a break and I'm not stressing! Good Luck to all the trainers and see you in Ft. Worth!

SLOW BUT STEADY

Flash is coming along, we've had some issues with being able to get on the side of him. This horse has been very hard to trust humans, but with consistant workouts in the afternoons and lots of patience we are seeing some progress. At this point we are able to get more "I'll stay with you's instead of let me get away first and then we'll come backs!" He is definitely going to make one heck of a horse once he "gets it"! Maybe I just thought I had enough patience and God is allowing me to see how much more I may have needed?? Nonetheless, I'm hangin' in there! Will keep posting as we make each breakthrough!
